Overview

Overview

I worked in a team of two people to design the new website for 30e, using its recently created visual identity to communicate the brand’s values.

Throughout the project, Gustavo and I were responsible for restructuring its sitemap to improve navigation and for creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.

Context

Context

30e is a Brazilian entertainment company specializing in organizing live music events, including festivals and band tours.

With its slogan, "Delivering Happiness", the company focuses on creating joyful and unforgettable experiences, featuring renowned national and international artists such as Titãs, NX Zero, Gorillaz, The Killers, Slipknot, and Bring Me The Horizon.

The Problem

The Problem

Over the years, the company's growth highlighted the need for a more effective channel to attract new partners and sponsors for its events.

The main issue with the previous website was its lack of visual credibility and professionalism, making it one of the least effective lead-generation channels.

For this reason, the new website should serve as both a portfolio and a powerful tool for attracting potential clients.

Site Redesign

Site Redesign

As part of the site redesign, one of the key decisions made to enhance the user experience was removing the 'For Sponsors' and 'For Artists' pages. While the goal of the site was to facilitate contact with potential clients, having these pages immediately accessible could prevent users from spending enough time learning about 30e and its work. This, in turn, could lead to lower conversion rates, as users may not have enough information or trust built up before deciding whether to reach out.

To strengthen credibility and brand authority, we added a dedicated space to showcase the artists and events that worked with 30e. A new page highlights the artists and bands, while another page displays both current and past events. Both elements serve as a portfolio, showcasing the company’s experience and expertise.

Additionally, to boost the brand’s credibility and relevance, a 'Media Presence' section was introduced. This section displays headlines from reputable news sources, linking to coverage of the company’s latest projects. By presenting third-party validation, we reinforced trust and authority.

Layout

Layout

To guide the user through the pages, we opted for a minimalist design. This approach helped reduce cognitive load while maintaining visual consistency. By mainly varying font sizes and weights, we were able to establish a clear visual hierarchy without adding unnecessary elements. Additionally, the use of different backgrounds and spacing contributed to visually defining distinct sections of the layout.

The brand's color palette was limited to black, white, and shades of gray, which contributed to the previous 'unfinished look' of the site. One solution to address this, without altering the brand identity, was to incorporate colors from images on certain pages. A tool that would sample colors from images and apply them to the background and buttons was discussed and would be later developed.

Results

Results

The redesign successfully addressed the key issues identified at the beginning of the project. By revamping the site's structure, visuals, and features, we created a more intuitive experience that guides users through the content.

Additionally, the new design gave the company the opportunity to use the website as a strategic sales tool. The site now clearly communicates what 30e does, showcases its products, and highlights its clients, all within a cohesive and visually compelling space. This enhanced presentation not only improves user experience but also positions the site as a powerful asset for attracting new partners and sponsors.
